Inner Child Works is a therapeutic intervention that makes a connection with your inner child and establishing an ongoing relationship with her/him. It is a process of contacting the young parts of you, your inner boy and girl. It is a way of understanding why we do, think and feel the way we do, as an adult. The work requires you to make a proactive effort to contact and listen to the child. To communicate with her/him and then to nurture her/his unmet needs.
My approach and techniques as an Inner Child Therapist include the use of Meditation, Hypnosis, Inner Voice Dialogue, Subpersonalities Work and Journaling, as homework, to address, relived the pain and hurt of the child which ultimately leads to healing the soul child.
The majority of the works requires you to re-experience the emotional intensity of the hurt and pain the child had carried into adulthood as adaptive behaviours.
This powerful work is a healing tool for psychological traumas and abuse, dysfunctional patterns and self-harming behaviours.
